Description

This new livestock barn project at New House Farm in Staffordshire, was completed in November 2019 using UK structural steel and UK manufactured profiled sheeting.Ventilated ridge systems ensure maximum building breathability, enhancing the internal environment and the well-being of the livestock – very important to the owners of this family-run farm. This 449m2 development of livestock barns is comprised of a new open-sided building and a refurbished closed-sided barn. Both use different profiled sheeting ventilated ridge systems – the closed barn maximising ventilation through the use of the open protected ridge system. Combined with the rain drum properties of fibre cement, this ventilation optimisation promotes animal well being and productivity. Added to this are the futher well known benefits fibre cement brings to all livestock buildings and indeed, all farm buildings in general: durability, long life and low maintenance.
